Get started in 3 steps
Follow this order for the smoothest setup

Create your first role
Click New Role in the sidebar or the role rail. Fill in the job title, department, salary band, and scorecard competencies.

Add your candidates
Select your role, then click + Add Candidate. Enter their details, source, expected salary, and drop them into the right pipeline stage.

Track and decide
Click any candidate card to open their full profile. Move them through stages, log interviews, complete scorecards, and manage offers — all in one place.

Tips for best results
From 8+ years of real-world talent acquisition experience
Fill in scorecard competencies when creating a role — not after. These drive the structured scoring on every candidate's Scorecard tab and make your hiring decisions defensible and consistent.
Candidate cards turn red after 14 days in the same stage. This is intentional — candidates who go quiet for two weeks are at serious risk of dropping out. Act on overdue flags immediately.

Always add rejected candidates to the Talent Pool when rejecting them. A candidate who was overqualified for one role may be perfect for the next one. The Talent Pool is your long-term recruiting asset.

Log every interview immediately after it happens — not at the end of the day. Use the Interview tab on each candidate's profile and record the outcome while your observations are fresh.

Your data saves automatically every time you make a change. Roles, candidates, scorecards, interviews, and offers are all stored in your browser. Close the tab, come back tomorrow — everything will be exactly as you left it. Use 💾 Backup Data in the sidebar to download a portable backup file, and 📂 Restore Backup to reload it on any browser or device. This is your safety net.

Check the Dashboard weekly. Source breakdown, pipeline funnel, and overdue alerts give you a hiring health check at a glance — especially useful when reporting to a hiring manager or leadership.

How to get started

Explore the sample data
The tracker is pre-loaded with demo roles and candidates across every feature. Click around to explore the pipeline board, scorecards, interview log, offer management, and dashboard.

Create your first real role
Click New Role in the sidebar. Set your job title, salary band, hiring manager, and define the scorecard competencies interviewers will evaluate against.

Clear sample data when ready
Go to Start Here in the sidebar and click Clear All Sample Data when you're ready to use this for live hiring. Your own data saves automatically — no manual action required.
